NEW DELHI: The merit list for all India counseling for 50% All India quota in NEET PG will be released by the end of next week, said sources close to the Director General of Health Services. The result and scorecard were declared on September 28.
Officials said that while most of the states will prepare their merit list for admission on the basis of NEET PG merit list and All India rank, the national list will be released separately followed by counseling for admission to all India seats. Organized by Medical Consultative Committee under DGHS.
“We are expecting to release the national list between October 8 and 10,” a senior official of the Union education ministry said.
NEET PG state counseling will be conducted under the aegis of the respective counseling authorities of the states and all the eligible candidates who have applied for the state counseling will be included in the respective state merit list.
This year, more than 1.6 lakh doctors appeared in NEET PG for admission to MS, MD and Diploma seats in medical colleges.
As per rules, under All India Quota, 50% seats in government colleges of all states except Jammu and Kashmir, 100% seats in Central Universities, 100% seats in Deemed Universities and 50% seats in Colleges under Staff State Admission is granted. Insurance Corporation.
