New Delhi: Mumbai’s Esplanade court on Friday (October 8) rejected the bail pleas of Shah Rukh Khan’s sons Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, in a case related to seizure of drugs after a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. In. . According to reports, Aryan will now move the Mumbai sessions court and will file a plea for his bail.
Aryan has been kept in the Quarantine Cell of Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. Although his RT-PCR report has come negative, but according to jail officials, the new accused will have to be kept in a quarantine cell for at least seven days.
Aryan Khan and seven others were sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the court on Thursday in the drug seizure case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) took Aryan Khan to his office in Mumbai after being produced before the Esplanade Magistrates’ Court. All the eight accused were kept in judicial custody at the NCB office as the jail would not accept new prisoners at this time.
So far 18 arrests have been made in the cruise ship raid case. A total of 17 have been produced in the court and the 18th person is yet to be produced in the Mumbai court.
Achit Kumar, who is the 17th person arrested by NCB, was today remanded in NCB custody till 9th October. He was arrested after Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Seth Merchant disclosed his name.

Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who defended Aryan Khan, said in the court, “Accused No 1, Aryan Khan was invited for a cruise party. However, he did not have a boarding pass. They didn’t have any seats or cabins there. Secondly, nothing has been recovered from him as per the seizure. He has been arrested on the basis of chat only.
NCB has also arrested Abdul Qadir Sheikh, Shreyas Nair, Manish Dariya, Avin Sahu and others.
