Kolkata: Finland’s Ambassador to India Ritva Kaukku-Ronde has said that West Bengal is a favorable place for Finland’s business and investment.
So Finland is looking forward to strengthen trade and investment ties with West Bengal, he said at an interactive session of the Indian Chamber of Commerce on Monday.
“We are looking forward to strengthen our business and investments in West Bengal,” he said. The envoy also said that India and Finland can cooperate in areas such as digitization and sustainability to realize their commercial potential.
“Finland aims to become carbon neutral by 2035 and replace 50 percent energy consumption by 2030 and we can do this jointly with India,” the envoy said.
