Bolivia: 6 killed in Air Force plane crash in Amazon jungle


La Paz: A Bolivian Air Force plane crashed in the Amazon jungle in northeast Bolivia on Saturday, killing all six people aboard, police said.

According to a police report from the Beni area, where the accident occurred, two military pilots and four civilian passengers were killed.

The plane caught fire after crashing into dense vegetation, and residents of the nearby Agua Dulce community helped extinguish the flames.

The cause was being investigated.
