Sixteen people were injured on Tuesday after a clash between Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Yuvajna Shramika Rayathu Congress Party (YSRCP) workers at Mettavalasa village in Srikakulam.
Sub Inspector of Srikakulam Police, M. Ahmed told ANI, “There was a clash between TDP and YSRCP activists in Metavalasa village in Srikakulam. 16 people were allegedly injured on social media posts related to the recent local body elections. They were rushed to hospital.”
“So far, we have deployed additional police personnel in the village,” Ahmed said.
