Cruise Party Drugs Case: Hearing on bail continues, Aryan Khan, other accused taken to Arthur Road Jail

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday put Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and other accused in the cruise ship drug raid case in Arthur Road jail. A Mumbai court on Thursday sent Aryan Khan and seven others to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the seizure of drugs on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

The accused were kept in judicial custody at the NCB office as the jail would not accept new prisoners at this time. The Mumbai court also said that hearing on Aryan Khan’s bail plea began on Friday. The court further said that the matter will now be heard by the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Court.

So far 18 arrests have been made in the cruise ship raid case. A total of 17 have been produced in the court and the 18th person is yet to be produced in the Mumbai court. Achit Kumar, who is the 17th person arrested by NCB, was today remanded in NCB custody till 9th ​​October. He was arrested after his arrest. The name was revealed by Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Seth Merchant.

An NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on a cruise ship, which was going to Goa in the middle of the sea, on the night of October 2. Eight people, including Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Vikrant Chhokar, Ismeet Singh, Nupur Sarika, Gomit Chopra and Mohk Jaswal, were produced in Mumbai’s Esplanade Court, which sent them to NCB custody till October 7.

Today he was again produced in the court, from where he was sent to judicial custody. He was arrested on 3 October in connection with the seizure of drugs on the cruise ship. According to the NCB, a case has been registered against eight persons under sections 8C, 20B, 27 (punishment for the use of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance), 35 (presumption). Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who is arguing in the defense of Aryan Khan, said in the court, “Accused number 1, Aryan Khan was invited for the cruise party.

However, he did not have a boarding pass. He had no seat or cabin there. Secondly, nothing has been recovered from him as per the seizure. He is arrested on the basis of chat only. NCB has also arrested Abdul Qadir Sheikh, Shreyas Nair, Manish Dariya, Avin Sahu among others.
