Cruise party drugs case: NCB raids builder Imtiaz Khatri’s Mumbai residence and office

New Delhi: In a fresh development in the cruise party drugs case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has raided the residence and office of Mumbai-based builder Imtiaz Khatri.

After questioning Achit Kumar, the name of Imtiaz Khatri came to the fore. The raids began last night and continued till morning (October 9, 2021) at his Bandra property in Mumbai.

It has been learned that no narcotic substance has been recovered from the properties of Khatri’s residence and office during the raids. However, the raids were conducted after receiving secret information from indirect links.

Khatri has reportedly been summoned to visit the NCB office soon.

Incidentally, Khatri’s name had cropped up once last year in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. However, no investigation was conducted then.

During this, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail plea was dismissed by a magistrate court on Friday, October 8, 2021. Star Kid has been sent to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the seizure of drugs.

Along with Aryan Khan, five others arrested in the case were also sent to Arthur Road Jail, while two women accused, including Munmun Dhamecha, were sent to Byculla Women’s Jail, a police official said.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested 18 people so far after raiding a cruise ship off Mumbai coast and allegedly recovering narcotic drugs.
