New Delhi: Facebook on Friday announced the rollout of a new Page design in the country that will make it easier for public figures and creators to build community and achieve their business objectives.
Some of the new features include an intuitive layout with a clear look and feel, making it easy to navigate between a personal profile and a public page.
For the first time there will also be a dedicated News Feed for Pages that will bring new ways to help with discovery and engage in conversation, Facebook said in a statement.
“This will make it easier to follow trends, interact with peers, and connect with fans. The dedicated news feed will also suggest new connections to other public figures, such as Pages, groups, and trending content, regardless of a Page or public figure. does,” it added.
It said a new text-based Q&A format is being introduced to support rich, interactive conversations.
“The improved security and integrity features will now enhance the ability to detect hate speech, violent, sexual or spammy content, and activities such as impersonation that are not permitted on the Platform,” the statement said.
