Outages are being reported in India from at least 9:20 am IST on Monday, October 4. According to Downdetector, WhatsApp’s first reported outage was at 8:39 pm. As for Facebook, it is first reported at 8:54 pm.
Facebook’s WhatsApp and Instagram faced similar issues earlier this year on March 19, when the messaging and photo-sharing app suffered massive outages in India and other parts of the world.
