Fact Check: The news of subsidy of Rs 5 lakh under PM Kisan Tractor Scheme is fake

New Delhi: A post in the name of PM Kisan Tractor Yojana is going viral on social media, in which it is being claimed that the central government is giving a subsidy of Rs 5 lakh to farmers through PM Kisan Tractor Scheme. PM Narendra Modi is also seen smiling in the post.

However, according to PIB, the central government is no longer implementing the PM Kisan Tractor Scheme. He gave this news a fake rating. Consequently, any claims made in the name of this scheme are FALSE.

PIB has tweeted about the fake news of internet regarding PM Kisan Tractor Scheme. According to PIB, there is no scheme like PM Kisan Tractor Scheme nor is the government implementing it. ALSO READ: Government’s CPSE privatization program begins after Tata Sons buys Air India – View Sale Timeline

This news has been termed as fake in the tweet. On the other hand, there is no such scheme by this name listed on the official website of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

As a result, it is clear that the claim made in the name of PM Kisan Tractor Scheme is absolutely false, and everyone should be careful and beware of scam schemes.
