New Delhi: Gold on Monday fell marginally by Rs 37 to Rs 45,539 per 10 grams in the national capital amid sluggish global trend.
In the previous trade, this precious metal had closed at Rs 45,576 per 10 grams.
Silver fell by Rs 137 to Rs 59,203 per kg from Rs 59,340 per kg in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,753 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 22.42 an ounce.
According to Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, “Spot gold was trading 0.44 per cent lower at $1,753 an ounce on COMEX on Monday.”
