Police said on Tuesday that the body of a 4-year-old girl lay in a field in rural Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. His old cousin was found seriously injured at a nearby location.
A senior official said that the two girls had been missing from their village under Kanth police station since Monday evening when they went to a madrasa to learn Urdu.
