Congress and CPI (M) -led Left Front hold seat-sharing meeting for Bengal assembly elections

Sources said that the Congress and the CPI (M) -led Left Front met on Thursday for seat-sharing for the assembly elections in West Bengal in April-May.
Left Front President Biman Bose, Leader of Opposition in the outgoing Congress Congress, Abdul Mannan, and other leaders participated in the discussion.
Sources said that Congress and Left Front leaders are sitting on seats.

The central leadership of the Congress High Command and Left Front constituents have pushed their state units forward for seat sharing arrangements.
The Congress and the Left parties jointly contested the state assembly elections in 2016, but fought separately in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
