Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari will attend an event on January 15 in Nagpur, where the Vidarbha office of the Ram Mandir Trust will begin its campaign to raise funds for the upcoming temple in Ayodhya, organizers said on Wednesday.
The program is organized by Vidarbha office of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust, established by the Center for the construction and management of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
In a ceremony, Mr. Koshiyari will participate in the inauguration of the “Vidarbha Province Dan” campaign.
The fund-raising campaign will be launched in the presence of Swami Awadheshanand Giri Maharaj, Governor and President of Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha, Niranjan Risaldar, the head of the Nidhi Samman Abhiyan (Nagpur), said in a press release.
On 15 January, the trust is starting a month-long public contact and contribution campaign across the country for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
