US President Donald Trump on Wednesday urged calm and said he opposed any violence among supporters as Congress debated his impeachment to incite the rebellion.

Trump said in a statement, “In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there should be no violence, no anti-law and no vandalism of any kind. This is not what I stand for and it is that Not what America is for. ” Issued by the White House.

“I ask all Americans to help reduce stress and calm down. Thank you.”
