OTTAWA: A Canadian jurist appeared red-pinched and naked after apologizing to his colleagues in a House of Commons zoom conference call.
William Amos, a Liberal MP, was caught covering his Nether areas in a state of nature between a mobile phone and the flags of Quebec and Canada when his laptop camera was turned on during a virtual session.
The 46-year-old tweeted on Wednesday after the incident in her office went public, saying, “I made a really unfortunate mistake today and I’m obviously embarrassed by it.”
“My camera was accidentally left as I changed into work clothes after jogging. I sincerely apologize to all my colleagues in the House. It was an honest mistake. It won’t happen again.”
I made a really unfortunate mistake today and I am obviously embarrassed by it. My camera was accidentally dropped as I changed into work clothes for jogging. I sincerely apologize to all my colleagues in the House. It was an honest mistake + it won’t happen again.

The Quebec MP did not address the virtual session, which was in question at the time, but would have been in violation of the House of Commons guidebook if he had chosen to do so in the event of an unwelcome.
Under the ‘Rules of Order and Decoration’ section, she is not required to sit to debate any dress code, but male speakers must “wear contemporary business attire” such as a jacket, shirt and tie.
His audacity was only shown on an internal House of Commons feed, leaving the Canadian public initially unaware that one of his representatives had changed into his birthday suit.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who led Amos’ Liberal Party, is yet to comment on the incident.
But opposition party whip Claude Debelfeuille raised the incidental flash in the cam as a point of order, reminding MPs that they should cover themselves at all times.
According to the Canadian Press, “He said it may be necessary to remind members, especially male people, that tie and jacket are mandatory, but are shirts, boxer shorts or pants.”
“We have seen that the member is in great physical shape, but I think the members should take care and control the camera well.”
