Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday announced that Sri Lankan cricketers Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera have been freed from the team’s bio bubble ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Eliminator.
Hasaranga and Chamira have been released to join Sri Lanka’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers. WT20 Qualifier. We wish both the best and thank them for their professionalism and hard work during IPL 2021.

Coming back to Sri Lanka, the Asian side on Sunday announced the final 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has included Lahiru Kumara, Binura Fernando and Akila Dhananjaya in the final squad. Last month, Mahela Jayawardene was appointed as consultant to the Sri Lankan team for the first round of the 2021 T20 World Cup.
Sri Lanka will play two World Cup warm-up matches organized by the ICC, before starting his T20 World Cup campaign on 12 and 14 October.
