Significantly, the tickets for this much-awaited match between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup have already been sold.
In 2017, Sharma won hearts by arranging air tickets for Mohammed Neelam, a Sri Lankan fan who had to return home to visit his ailing father. Apart from the ticket, Sharma also gave him some money and promised to go to Neelam’s house in Colombo.
Sharma, who later went to Sri Lanka to lead Team India in the Nidahas Trophy, did not forget his promise and went to meet Neelam’s family in Colombo.
