IPL 2021: ‘Some experiments came out, some didn’t’, says Virat Kohli about this RCB player

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli passed his assessment on promoting all-rounder Daniel Christian in the batting order. The Australian cricketer was seen batting at number three in RCB’s last two clashes, however, the move turned out to be futile.

Christian disappointed on both occasions, getting out on 0 and 1. Speaking on RCB’s experiment during the toss, which Kohli won and opted to field, the captain said: “Some experiments come up, some don’t.”

However, Christian’s contribution with the ball in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad was phenomenal as he bowled three overs and took three wickets and conceded just 14 runs.

Kohli also said that the team that quickly adapted to the change made it to the play-offs. “It’s been tough work to accommodate all kinds of surfaces, and the teams that do that have qualified,” he said.

Meanwhile, Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant echoed that his side is working on ways to improve as a batting unit.
