Lakhimpur Kheri Violence: Minister of State Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra to appear before UP Police today

New Delhi: Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs (MoS) Ajay Mishra Teni’s son, Ashish Mishra will appear before the Uttar Pradesh Police on Saturday (October 9, 2021) at 11 am. Teni’s son has been summoned again by the UP Police in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in which eight people lost their lives.

Minister of State Ajay Mishra Teni, who reached his residence in Lakhimpur Kheri on Friday, said that his son was unable to report to the police due to health reasons.

NS Uttar Pradesh Police pasted another notice on Friday Asked his son Ashish Mishra to appear on October 9 outside the residence of Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra in Lakhimpur Kheri.

A total of eight people, including four farmers, died in the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday (October 3).

Sanyukta Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of several farmer unions, alleged that Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra Teni arrived with three vehicles when the farmers were dispersing their protest at the helipad and landed down. And finally attacked SKM leader Tajinder Singh Virk too directly, tried to drive a vehicle over him.

However, Ashish Mishra SKM denied the allegations and said that he was not present at the place where the incident took place.

Two accused Lavkush and Ashish Pandey have been arrested so far in connection with the incident.
