Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday lauded India’s ongoing COVID-19 vaccination campaign and congratulated those who are making India’s vaccination campaign a success.
Responding to a tweet by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the Prime Minister wrote, “This is just one example of the monumental effort made by every stakeholder to ensure vaccination to our fellow citizens. Everyone who makes up India’s vaccination campaign Congratulations. Success.”

Earlier today, Mr Mandaviya shared a video in a tweet, depicting the hard work of health workers who travel to risky areas to get people vaccinated.
Mandaviya tweeted, “The world’s largest and fastest vaccination campaign is progressing successfully today due to the hard work of these health workers who are going to vaccinate even in remote areas by taking great risks. Their contribution in securing the nation.” Contribution will always be remembered,” Mr Mandaviya tweeted. .
Union Health Minister Mandaviya earlier today interacted with Principal Secretaries and Mission Directors (National Health Mission) of all major states and reviewed the progress of COVID-19 vaccination there.
According to the Union Health Ministry’s press release, during the meeting, Mr Mandaviya underlined that the immediate milestone in India’s COVID-19 vaccination journey is to complete the administration of 100 crore doses. India has given 94 crore vaccine doses so far.
The states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal participated in the meeting. .
