After months of closure, primary schools in Uttarakhand will reopen for classes 1-5 on September 21 COVID-19 global pandemic.
According to an order issued by the School Education Department on Saturday, classes will be held for three hours only and children will not be allowed to bring food to school.
The order said that the option of online education would also be available for the students of these classes.
The school administration has to ensure proper cleanliness of the entire campus including classrooms, offices, libraries and toilets. Students and staff members will have to compulsorily wear masks and maintain physical distance. A nodal officer will be appointed in each school to ensure compliance with the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.
