Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s son Navjit Singh got married in a simple ceremony at a Gurdwara in Mohali.
Navjeet married Simrandhir Kaur, an engineering graduate from Amlala village near Dera Bassi in Mohali district.
As per Sikh customs ‘Anand Karaj’ was performed at Gurdwara Sacha Dhan.
Sitting next to his son, the chief minister himself took the SUV to the gurdwara.

The Jathedar also praised Channi for conducting the simple marriage ceremony.
Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu could not attend the event as he was in Jammu to visit Mata Vaishno Devi temple.
