New Delhi: A Flipkart customer who had ordered a smartphone from the e-commerce website during the Big Billion Days sale was shocked when the package arrived at his doorstep.
The customer we are talking about had ordered an iPhone 12 which was selling at a huge discount during the sale. However, much to his surprise when he received the delivery of the smartphone, he found a Rs 5 soap bar inside the box instead of an iPhone 12, as per a report in Gizmochina.
While Flipkart is a very reliable e-commerce platform when it comes to ordering expensive items like smartphones, this phenomenon has now taken many by surprise. The report states that a user named Simranpal Singh recently made a bold claim that he had received the soap at the time of delivery.
Further, the report states that the customer got two pieces of Nirma soap instead of the smartphone. In addition, a page named GoAndroid has also updated the video posted by a smart customer, who refused to share the OTP with the delivery partner.
Had he shared the OTP, it would have meant that the customer has received the order. He also complained about the e-commerce major’s customer service, and after a few days of trying and talking with the delivery person, Flipkart reportedly admitted the mistake.
Flipkart has also canceled the order and started refund for the order. The customer has reportedly received the money in his bank account. Read also: Google Pixel 6 Big Update! Smartphone will get five years update, Magic Eraser
