Cristiano Ronaldo brace for Juventus’ win over Croton

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Juventus scored Serie A. In Ronaldo, the bottom club beat Croton 3–0 to return to victory. In the first half, there could be a hat-trick.

Weston McKenney sealed the result after the break. Juventus dropped to third on the table, eight points behind Serie A leader Inter Milan, playing a match less.

This was Croton’s fifth consecutive defeat and left it eight points behind safety. Juventus were looking for a big win after a disappointing week. Bienkorei defeated 2–1 in Porto on Wednesday in the first leg of the Round 16 of the Champions League, a few days after Napoli lost 1-0 in Serie A.

Croton never looked back in the match, and Juventus won in the 66th match, when McCaini finally came from a corner and controlled it on his chest before firing into the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Sevilla comfortably beat Osasuna 2–0, increasing their winning rhythm in the Spanish League by six matches and stepping into the top three for the first time this season.

Defender Diego Carlos and striker Luuk de Jong scored goals to help Sevilla gain a point in front of fourth-placed Barcelona on Monday. Sevilla trailed Real Madrid by four points and are seven points behind league leader Atletico Madrid.

Sitting 13th, Ossuna had won three of their last four league matches, including the last two. This charge is four points above the field.
