LONDON: British police said on Sunday they would not take any further action against Prince Andrew after a review by an accuser of Jeffrey Epstein who claims he sexually assaulted her.
Virginia Giuffre, who is suing Queen Elizabeth’s second son, claims she was trafficked by Epstein to London to have sex with Andrew when she was 17 and a minor under US law .
Andrew has denied all allegations.
In August, the Metropolitan Police began a review of charges involving the late convicted sex offender Epstein.
“This review has ended and we are not taking any further action,” the Met said in a statement.
The force said it continues to liaise with other law enforcement agencies that are leading investigations into the Epstein-related cases.
