Tech giant Apple is likely to introduce all four models of its upcoming ‘iPhone 13’ lineup with bigger batteries, an updated chipset and expanded mmWave 5G support in September, a new report says. According to AppleInsider, research firm TrendForce had outlined its expectations for the device, which was said to return to a specific September release.
Driven by the new models, the research firm believes that total iPhone shipments could increase by 30 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2021.
The report also outlines some of the features that TrendForce expects on the new ‘iPhone 13’ model and they are largely in line with previous rumors and reports.
Additionally, other reports suggest that ‘iPhone 13’ May sport additional professional camera features like a new 120Hz Promotion Display and ProRes video recording.
A July report also indicated that the ‘iPhone 13 Pro’ model will change Pacific Blue to a bronze-like ‘Sunset Gold’ colour.
Recently, a survey showed that 43.7 percent of iPhone users said they plan to switch to the iPhone 13, which is up by 2.7 percent compared to their intention to purchase an iPhone 12 from a survey last year.
While 56.3 percent revealed that they are not interested in the upcoming iPhone range.
The report mentions that the high refresh rate display, under-display Touch ID, always-on display and small notch/notch-less design make up the list of most excitingly rumored features of the iPhone 13 at 22 percent, 18.2 percent, 16 percent are at the top. , respectively, 10.9 percent.
